Jagan confident of becoming Andhra CM in future

Congress MP Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy today expressed confidence that he would become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh sometime in the future.

"I will come before you as Chief Minister one day. It may be two days or two years. With your blessings, I will become Chief Minister. Things would be favourable for us," he said here.

The Kadapa MP was addressing a gathering after launching the 'Abhaya Hastam' life insurance scheme for women Self-Help Groups.

Jagan, as he is popularly known, was projected as the right successor for the late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy by supporters of the former Chief Minister.

The proposal was shot down by the Congress high command who made it clear that K Rosaiah would continue as Chief Minister and that there would be no change in the arrangement in the near future.
